Through the topology optimization of the bicycle frame deployment, and then according to the corresponding optimization results, the optimization of the corresponding frame prototype is completed, and then the bicycle is produced by 3D printing. The topology-optimized bicycle frame not only reasonably plans the material structure distribution , but also reduces the energy consumption rate and the emission of harmful substances in production.

Words, feelings, promises. Now brought to life in the intimacy of this piece of art. The portrait distinguishes the identity of the receptacle containing the ashes. A lasting and personal manner to remind those who have meant so much to us.

Osteoid

The goal of this project is to improve the overall healing experience for broken or fractured limbs by focusing on the patient’s comfort and healing time. Osteoid cast offers a new way of tackling these problems by introducing new technologies which enables us to make custom fitted, durable 3D printed medical casts that doesn't itch or smell. The end products are slimmer, lighter, doesn't affect from water and environmentally friendly. This cast can also be combined with, a low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) bone stimulator resulting in faster recovery.

3D Crafts

Alice Le Biez, French young designer has realized a set of three bowls, printed in 3D ceramics. The shape of each bowls reminds traditional ceramics technique. She created with her project an illusion of a hand-made bowl by the design but also by the making process. Her 3D printing object explores the link between traditional skills and new technologies and demonstrates that designer can use the new technologies as a tool to go further in their work and discover a new field of creation.

Coral Extinction

Coral is found underwater and not many people get an opportunity to explore their beauty. These three wearable rings attempts to bring coral’s intricate form and colours, as well as its importance to the attention of the society. The design is an abstract representation of coral’s deterioration. There are three stages in this series; the first stage displays a healthy and prosperous well-being of coral reef. In the second stage, the coral begins to die and it shows half its skeleton and half its polyps. Finally, the third stage shows the inside skeleton of coral, representing its death.
