Peaceful design with overall softness was kept in mind for this piece. The curved shaped fur of the lion was a clear choice. It is easy to follow, yet it evokes a kind of an ethereal feeling. A lot time went into designing the transition from the lion to the surrounding environment, the smoothness of it is quite important, because it determines how the piece works together with its background.
Daeki Shim and HyoJun Shim produced the alphabet B by getting a motive from Venn diagram of a plane shape, which expresses the meaning of the word Between. They also produced B 3-dimensionally through the 3D printer. These two 3D printed symbols are seen as the alphabet B of the same plane when they are seen at the front. However, its form changes according to the switch of an angle, and viewers can see the two 3D printed symbols were designed in an individually different structure.
